Ben has a stuffed weiner dog named Oscar that Grandma T gave him when he was a baby. He loves Oscar; he takes him many places and sleeps with him. After 4 years, Oscar has started to age slightly. He's had a few holes that Grandma E. has fixed for him. His mouth is just some string sewn on and it has started to fall off. The other day, Ben was carrying Oscar around the house wrapped in a blanket and was talking softly to him. I wasn't sure what was going on, so I got a little closer to hear what he was saying. I overheard him say, "Don't worry Oscar, my Grandma E. is going to be here in a few days and she's really nice. She'll fix your mouth up for you." Then he made Oscar a bed on the couch with his softy and Power Ranger sword for protection. He tucked him in so he could rest up and get better. I love Ben's creativity and ideas! It was really cute to watch him and hear his conversation with his buddy Oscar.
