Kate on her playmat

Today Kate used the playmat for the first time. She loved it and tried to grab the hanging toys. Good thing we tried it out when Ben and Heidi were sleeping so she didn't get trampled!

Heidi's Babies

Heidi loves her dolls. She has a Baby Kate and a Baby Allie just like her new sister and new cousin that she loves to play with. The other night after baths when I was feeding Kate, John helped her sit in the beanbag chair to feed her Baby Kate. She was so cute. It is fun to see her maturing and learning. I am always amazed at what my kids know that we did not intentionally teach them.

Swimming with Uncle Paul

Uncle Paul was home for a few days between Tahoe and Point Loma. We had lunch with him one day, and the kids went swimming (the kids and Uncle Paul and John). All of the kids love Uncle Paul and love to hang out with him. Ben also likes to keep track of where Uncle Paul is. The other day Heidi was wearing a backpack and Ben asked her, "Heidi, are you going to San Diego or Nashville or Spain or Tahoe? I think Uncle Paul is actually in Tahoe, do you want to go visit him? And Heidi responded with her usual, "Kay" (Okay). Anyways, we had a nice afternoon visiting him before he left for school.
