I know I am very behind on blogging and have a whole pile of pictures and events to post as well as some more quotes from Ben. I promise I'll get to them as soon as I get my work samples under control- due in 1 week! I just put the kids down for their naps and before I start my work, I thought I'd share about our nap time today. First of all, Kate had her 4 month shots today so she was a little grumpy, but still had smiles for us- she's amazing! I put Heidi in her crib and not a minute later the gardeners for the house across the street showed up and started mowing, which scares Heidi. I went and calmed her down and then proceeded to play a game of War with Ben, which he won, again! He informed me that War was a game for men and little bit hard for ladies so I shouldn't feel bad. When I won a hand, after about 10 I lost, he says, "See mom, you're getting some big numbers now. You're getting better all the time!" Thanks Ben. He then started to realize that if he kept winning hands, the game was going to be over sooner, so he then he started cheering me on; what a guy! I ended up losing every card, legitimately. During our game I heard some noises coming from Heidi's room so I went to check on her and she had all her friends lined up along her crib railing (see picture). She is such a character. Kate just fell asleep so now I am praying for a couple of hours of quiet so I can work....we'll see. And I'll post more later. Happy Monday!
